These were commissioned for the nave of St James Church in Taunton, Somerset. They are woodcuts, cut from old pew benches of the church, and depict stories from the Old and New Testament that involved angels , such as Adam and Eve being evicted from the Garden of Paradise, and Jacob wrestling with the angel.
